Stairwell Steward was Third Class Steward in 1997 Film Titanic.

BiographyEdit

On April 15, 1912, during the night when Titanic started to sink he tried escape Steerage corridor accidentally came across Rose DeWitt Bukater and Jack Dawson who were trapped behind locked Bostwick gates as water rose dangerously high. He want leave but feel sorry for pair and decided unlock the gate. However he panicked, dropped keys and unable see them abandoned the pair who had find keys in water themselves.

He successfully reached boat deck only to find two last lifeboat were left. He and many Seamen held back crowd when Collapsible B falls from rooftop. Soon water reached boat deck and he was pushed aside by crowd of crew and passengers who were tried get on overturned lifeboat. He ultimately get on Collapsible as it was floated off. However first funnel which was very close collapsed, creating huge wave, soaking all on lifeboat.

On Carpathia he was wrapped in a blanket with other survivors.
