Fifth Officer Lowe is a main character in 2012 Miniseries and Junior Officer of RMS Titanic.
Official Description[]
The young Fifth Officer is celebrated for gathering several lifeboats together into a pontoon, in order to empty one and return in it to search for survivors, despite the fears that anyone doing so might be swamped by hordes of the drowning.
Biography[]
In Episode 1 and 2, Lowe is the one who gave the orders to lower Lifeboat 1 at the assistance of Sir Cosmo Duff-Gordon and Lady Duff-Gordon. During the evacuation of the Titanic, he doesn't allow men into the boats (like Jack Thayer and John Jacob Astor). He is put in charge of Collapsible C by First Officer Murdoch.
