When the ship is sinking, the steward guards a gate in the Third Class Dining Room.


In the Third Class Dining Room, the two stewards (along with Hart and Turnbull) guards a gate at top of stairs.


The steward holds back David Evans, as the latter tries to rush up the stairs. When Peter Lubov attacks Steward Turnbull, the steward immediately rushes over to help Turnbull. As the steward is unable to frees Turnbull, he snarls at Lubov to release him. He rushes up the stairs and closes the gate.

Chief Officer Wilde - Titanic (1997)

Chief Officer Wilde was a chief officer.

As First Officer Murdoch shots two men, he puts a gun to his temple and salutes Wilde who tries to hold back the crowd. The latter shouts at him "No Will!", yet Murdoch pulls the trigger and falls overboard. Wilde shouts at the passengers to stand back. Caledon Hockley arrives with a little Steerage girl, Wilde orders the passengers to clear a path. Cal begs Wilde to let him into a collapsible, saying he is all the girl has in the world, Wilde allows him through, telling him to "Go on". Steward Turnbull (personality)

Turnbull can be heard tells David Evans telling him that the Steerage won't be taken to the boat deck and reminding everyone that the Titanic is safer than dry land. However with Steward Hart arguing with Turnbull, the passengers can tell that something is up with them. However Turnbull, Hart, and another steward try talking with the passengers; trying to reinsure their worries.

His body language has him with his arms crossed in front of him.


As more passengers begin to crowd the dining room area and with Evans and Hart questioning why the Steerage are being held down below. Steward Turnbull


Steward (first name unknown) Turnbull was a Third Class Steward on the Titanic.


Turnbull came from Scotland based on his accent and most likely had worked on many White Star ships. However he keeps his negative views of the Steerage to himself.

After the RMS Titanic struck an iceberg and began to sink, many of the Steerage passengers headed towards the Third Class dining room. However the gate is closed and Turnbull is guarding the gate with John Hart and two other stewards. Hart and Turnbull have an argument over letting the Steerage go up to the boat deck, especially when David Evans demands to know why aren't being let out and if the children can go up.

Steward No19

The Steward was third class steward.

In the Third Class, a Scottish passenger asks the steward, why they wants the passengers to put their lifebelts on, if there is no danger. The steward responds that he is not there to argue, he wants everybody with their lifebelts on.

Later, the steward (along with the two other stewards) guards the stairs. As Scottish passenger steps forward, the steward orders him to wait and tells the passengers that they will all be told when to go up.

As the steward and the two other stewards tries to hold back the crowd from rushing up the stairs, the two more stewards and a superior arrives to assist in holding the passengers back.

Steward III

The Steward was third class steward.

After the collision with an iceberg, the steward enters the Third Class Cabin (belonging to the Cartmell family) and throws down a lifebelts on the floor, telling the family up and put their lifebelts on.

Behind the locked gate, the steward (along with another steward) guards the Third Class Main Stairwell and tries to calm the passengers, telling them to make sure they got their lifebelts on and let the women and children through to the front. He tells another steward to go and get some help.

During the evacuation, in the Third Class corridor, the steward passes a lifebelts to the passengers, telling them to put their lifebelts on. As Tommy Ryan takes a last lifebelt, the steward helps an another male passenger, with his lifebelt, telling him to turn it around.

Steward Taylor was first class bedroom steward.

Steward #3 (character name not given) is a Third Class steward in James Cameron's Titanic. He is played by Kevin Owers.


He is first seen entering the Cartmell's cabin and throws the lifejackets on the ground telling them to put on their lifejackets.

Later on, he is seen behind a gate on top of a stairway with one or two other stewards trying to calm the passengers down and telling them to have their lifejackets on. He then tells another steward to get more help.

Steward 2

Steward #2 (character name not given) is a Third Class steward in James Cameron's Titanic. He is played by Nick Meaney.


He is first seen giving out lifejackets to the passengers in Third Class, his last lifejacket he has is taken by Tommy Ryan.

In his next and last appearance, he and another steward are behind a locked gate trying to get the steerage passengers to get to the main stairwell which is blocked by other steerage passengers. After getting in a heated argument with Jack Dawson about opening the gate; Jack gets Tommy, Fabrizio, and another Steerage male passenger to pry loose a bench and use it as a ramming rod.
